Nani has pledged his future to Manchester United, despite the lack of chances he has found so far. There had been suggestions that the club might look to cash in during the summer on the winger, who has struggled to break into the side.
However, Nani appears to be no quitter, and rather than seeking a move, he is looking to fight for his place in the team;
'My future is at Manchester United, of course,' he told the Portuguese press. 'It is a privilege to be at a club like this.
'I won one more title and I am very happy to have won it for these two consecutive years.
Whilst it's heartening to see a player commit to the club when not a regular, some will question the wisdom of such a move. Nani actually played 10 less games last season than the one before, and although he improved his goal tally by two, he was definitely on the fringes of the side.
Hopefully, his attitude will serve him well, and next year he will be at his barnstorming best, leaving the questions over his £17 million price tag far behind.
